Getting Around The Local Area By Bike

Depending on how confident and fit a cyclist you are, there are a range of destinations that can be accessed by bike from King Edwin Park.

Harrogate town centre can be accessed in under 20 minutes, including the train station which is a similar distance away. From Harrogate, you have access to everything the beautiful Victorian spa town has to offer, including restaurants, bars, shops and of course the stunning historical architecture.

Locally the Killinghall Moor to Harrogate cycle route, as shown on the Harrogate Cycle Network map, provides an attractive route between Penny Pot Lane and Harrogate town centre, ideal for cyclists of all abilities.

If you are looking for something a little more leisurely, the Nidderdale Greenway is a great way to explore the local countryside. The route connects Bilton, North Harrogate and Knaresborough with Ripley. Following a disused railway, the route is mainly flat and completely traffic-free, making it ideal for cyclists of all abilities and families.
